Chess Club Caven
Logo and Identity for the Chess Club Caven, Ajdovscina, Slovenia. The club activities mainly focus on the chess school for kids and organising tournaments and chess events.
The idea behind the design was to visually combine the chess theme and Burja, a very strong wind, which is the main specific nature feature this area. Burja strongly affected the local architecture, life and became part of local identity.

When we at Chess club Čaven Ajdovščina were looking for someone to create a logo that would truly capture the soul of our club, Anna stepped up completely selflessly and with incredible enthusiasm. She wasn’t just a designer – she became a real team member!
The final result? A logo that breathes Ajdovščina and that genuine joy that kids feel for chess that hits you the moment you see it. Everyone who sees it says: “This is EXACTLY Čaven!”
And then she went the extra mile… For our traditional tournament Ajdovščina Open, she created a visual identity that I can safely call a masterpiece. The poster is so beautiful that people are already photographing it and sharing it.
